THE STAR

“The Star invites you to rest and heal.

She is a glimmer of hope, a light in the darkness, a compass to right your course, and assistance when you most need it.

She is a glowing reminder from the universe that everything is in order and occurs in its own time.

You are entering a stage of calm, so use it wisely to identify (and commit to) what’s important, for the Star is a card of possibilities and potential futures. She will guide you even when you falter, but you must keep your eye on her light.”

KNIGHT OF COINS

Today, the words in the book jump out at me:

“Favorable news regarding income, methodical and organized work, practicality, dependability, a serious but pleasant demeanor, possible travel.”

Repetition and Routine are also words that stand out. Perhaps you are already a hard worker, stick to your ways as this is generating a good outcome for you. If not, maybe it’s time to sit down and write out a plan for yourself! Set your goals and stick to a way that will get you there!

ACE OF WANDS

Here we have a wand surrounded by beautiful, fiery colors representing passion and enthusiasm. The colors remind me of the sun and the start of a new day, a sign of new things to come and new beginnings.

With this card, a wave of new energy may come your way. Be ready for significant breakthroughs and clarity on important matters. You may have a shift in mindset that allows you to see the world anew. Meditate to clear away mental chatter and allow this new energy to emerge.

If you have been thinking about doing something new or have a plan you haven’t implemented yet, now is the time to take action!

THE SUN (reversed)

Looking out my window today, it is rainy and cloudy. Although the mood seems depressing, the sun is just behind those clouds and always will be.

Soon enough, the clouds will part, and the sunlight will shine down on me again.

If you are experiencing any darkness, know that the light will shine again.

Allow yourself to be in a safe place and open up to the universe. Know that you are not forgotten. Learn from your struggles and know all happens for a reason.

“This too shall pass” -Edward Fitzgerald.

OR if you are not struggling, perhaps take some time to walk outside and actually get some sun!

TWO OF SWORDS

When I got back from Sedona last year, tarot cards would just pop into mind.

I was struggling and in internal conflict about how I felt about someone who was married. My logic was fighting with my heart, and in my mind’s eye, I saw myself be cut in half by two swords. Fortunately, it wasn’t terribly gruesome, more cartoonish, but it was the perfect card representing my situation. In the end, of course I knew the choice was to let him go for he wasn’t the one for me.

Difficult choices need to be made in life. Sometimes they can seem impossible. If you are in a difficult situation, confide in a friend or loved one. Perhaps write out everything you feel in a journal. Even better, seek out one of our practitioners!

If you are not currently in one, this may be a message that you may come across someone who is.

THREE OF CUPS

It’s a good time to be with friends and loved ones!

“Three of Cups glow in the radiant warmth that can only be created by hearts that share the past.”

If there is someone you haven’t spoken to in a while, this card is a sign to give them a call!

KING OF SWORDS

This card is asking you to view a decision with impartiality. Set aside emotions and use logic to make an important decision on a matter.

For me, this card frequently shows up when I ask about a potential love interest. Being an emotional creature, I sometimes set aside logic while overpowered with my emotions and end up in my own fantasy. So when this card appears, I know that I need to view reality and see the guy for who he really is instead of having a made-up version of him inside my head.

Basically, this card is a reality check. Use your logic instead of your emotions when it comes to relationships.
